Take me oh princess, to a land unknown

Where hearts just blossom & flowers bloom

Under the lights of the dazzling stars

Where wishes come true, and I assume

The place’s right here, in your lovely heart

Filled with the touch of a thousand wands

Take me oh princess, to this land unknown

I promise to make it my sweet li’l home

I need no castles on some far-away land

All I need is you, now can I hold your hand

The touch of your fingers, the whip of your hair

Fills joy in my heart and magic in the air

I breathe it and I wish again, if only you could

Take me oh princess, to the land unknown

Can I hold you now, can I make you my own

While you are lost in your thoughts, and I row along

I see the shores a few miles away

I bottle up my wishes & toss them in the sea

Hoping some day you'd find it & smile thinking of me

The garden of love is lush with memories

Of unspoken conversations on the wooden benches

Of little children playing silly games, happy and free

Of promises made and etched in the barks of old trees

Somewhere with the change of seasons

The flowers wilted, and the leaves changed colors

And yet what remained through the changing times

Are the songs of the birds and the love of the lovers

Who took shelter in the calmness of its heart

Under the canopy of trees over the blanket of green

Who weaved dreams lost in the scent of its flowers

Watched the sun go to sleep

Hand-in-hand, together for hours

On those vacant benches are now two old friends

Memories blurred, wrinkles on their faces

The world mowed over their happiness once

And their love was washed away by the rain

And yet after ages, on the very same bench

Two young hearts welcome the arrival of spring again

Yet again the sun would set
And yet again a shadow would cast
But I shall guide you to the shore
Right until my breath shall last

While you admire the setting sun
In a silhouette I shall calmly hide
Then set myself ablaze and glow
And ne’er stop until the darkness died

So often have I been weary
Of looking across the ocean blue
And yet I shall stand tall and burn
‘Coz we all have our share of duties due
