Muttered prayers deep inside

Just when I thought hope had died

Bowed to a mesh of fingers, eyes shut tight

Scrambled towards the ray of light

Suddenly the sky opened up and it poured

And with it shut a hundred doors

Thunders muffled the voices in my head

And two weary feet returned to bed

The sun rose and it wrapped me warm

The rainbow smiled and it stretched an arm

And I returned on my journey, north bound

Just the way the earth couldn’t cease turning around!
